Unit 27 - Production schedule
My dead line to finish my production schedule is in
about five weeks.
Week 1
I have successfully planned on how much time I
should spend on making my documentary. I believe that I have done enough research
for my documentary and I believe that I’ve almost finished my scrip. My script
and the entire thing that I plan to talk about in my game documentary are all pretty much organised.
The last thing that is left is ending my conclusion with an objective ending to
make the audience come up with the own conclusion on video games.
As I'll be using expository in my documentary my
face won't be in it shown in the documentary and the audience will only be able
to hear my voice through out. I'll only be use only be using two location
through out my documentary and the rest will I'll be using archive footage for
my documentary to explain my points while I am talking about the subject of
games in my documentary.
Week 2
Overall I have to spend time trying to interview
people in the public. I have already planned at that on Saturday from 2pm to
4pm I’ll be going to Namco funscape arcade as this would be a perfect place to
interview people that play games and get their opinion on games.

The other location will take place at my own house
where I'll also be interviewing people close to me friends, parents etc. Most likely I'll be doing a whole interview in day at my own house on Friday from 12pm to 7pm as I have already asked and have gotten permission that I am allowed to interview people I want.

Unit 27 Risk Assessment
As my game documentary will be purely expository
will be I’ll only be using more using my voice so my voice won't be shown. I
also plan to only use about two locations. The two locations taking that will
be in the documentary will be taking place in my own house and a public
location called Namco Funscape. The is a really low risk for things to
go wrong in the documentary and very unlikely that anyone will get hurt during
the making of the documentary either. I will most likely be taking a bus
to go to Namco funscape as it is a bit a far. There may be some risk
while heading towards Namco funscape. There might be a car crush while I'm in
the busy which may hurt passengers and me.
Unit 27 - Docudrama sub genre of factual TV
Docudrama - Documentary drama are generally based of real life facts that have happened. These documentary doesn't have much commentary from the narrators stand point as it avoids that so the audience can be engaged as much as possible in the docudrama. The appeal would be people having arguments and fights which audiences like because they are really nosey as people find it appealing to see other peoples personal problems on the big TV screen.
Biopics - Biopics are movies which are based off of real life events that have actually happened example of a movie would be open water which has people in shores of Australian on a boat that has sank. The appeal here would be a story simply being based off of real life events. people find amazing for something's that happened in the past ridiculous and terrifying to some. These biopics are also done realistically and possible following the real life event making it all the more appealing and engaging.
Docusoap - Are usually celebrity be recorded to their day o day life. It may seem boring to most people but to people that are a fans to such celebrity they might find out more about the celebrity that they are so passionate about.
Reality TV - Reality TV usually show the lives of celebrities and what they go through day to day bases. The makes the audience aware and also relate themselves to a celebrity on reality TV. Example of reality TV would be meet the Kardashians
Infotainment - Infotainment is a mix between being informative while also being entertaining to the audience. Humans have a habit of being really curious which is why we also seek for knowledge as humans we also get really bored easily and a way for us to entertain ous selves would be from humours any sort. By putting these two together you get infotainment which is the best of both worlds.
Wild life - planet earth usually with just a narrator voicing everything that is happening in the on screen planet earth is a perfect exam as it tell a story through what is happening on screen which is real footage of nature taking place in real life.
Educational
Education shows are for the sole purpose of feeling people with interesting facts that appeal to people like to learn things.

Make over are TV shows which has something changing. This amazes the audience and see how talented the TV makers are a t at doing make overs. Examples would be the TV snog, marry, avoid. It makes people consider changing them selves for the better from watching a show like song, marry , avoid.
Review show
Review shows are critics that review a product. The appeal of this is that people get an opinions of the critics. This makes the audience think and consider that the person has said about a product. Unit 27 - My focus group and evaluation
Evaluation
I the points that my group had made about making
my documentaries how I should try to interview both genders instead
just interviewing. Even though my documentary is about games and
mostly targeted at audience I think its a fair point to at least
try to get women’s opinion in my documentary I could interview some that
play game and some that don't and what they think of video games as a
whole.
Unit 27 - New package evaluation
My group was pretty big and consisted of about 5
people. At first I didn't have a group to work with, as I wasn't
assigned to be in one. As I was not there on the day when everyone had a group.
So I missed out on one day of lesson. Once I was filled in with the
details that we had to make a parody of the news. My team came up with
the idea have being a parody of the BBC news as almost everyone in Britain know
about it. We watched a few clips with the BBC news as none of my group member
watch the BBC news on a daily bases.
My team kept on arguing amongst each other on who
should do what. Almost no body wanted act in the BBC parody. As we were running
out of time I volunteered, as I didn't mind being recorded and some and some of
our group members seemed to be very camera shy. As it was a parody my
team kind of did slack a bit and we when we kept on getting dialogues wrong
some my team member deiced that they didn't want to act no more. I didn't feel
like the line was so hard to remember as it was just a small script that had
with me. Even though it took me a while to remember the script word by word I
think I did pretty well for my self.
What we had done well as a new package parody was
make look very unprofessional. As I was the news reporter I was speaking
informally to the audience along with wearing clothes, which wouldn’t suit a
news reporter, as people wouldn’t take the news reporter seriously in real life
TV. I also walked off the stage while being recorded this would have looked
very unprofessional if it was done in
the actual news report as you never actually see a news reporter ever leave the
stage when ever they are being filmed.

New package Parody evaluation
The process for my team and I to do the news parody was pretty simply. My team and I don't watch the news much but we got inspiration from watching the most popular new channel in the UK BBC news. We used a green in order to get the background of the BBC news studio. My team and also edited the so that we could get the intro of the BBC news to make seem as if it was the real BBC news channel.
My team kept arguing among each on who would be the camera man or women and the editing as no body to act in our video and seemed camera shy.
