Unit 27 - Factual TV issues

Bias is unfair judgement which is only one sided and unbalanced these are most opinions of people which think a topic is non debatable and what needs to be done. An example of this would the one of the people in the elation to who can become the next president Donald Trump which one seems to know one way to deal with people like Isis by separating the Muslim from all the other culture because of this he could be seen as racist as he doesn't really give a fair enough argument as there thousands of other people from different cultures which commit crime everyday no matter what country.

Balance is either two sides are more being equal. An example of this would be people debating on a topic on the negatives and positives. On this topic you get the posties and the negatives of getting a car and you get a better understanding of what it would feel like if you have car. Not only that but also get the gives knowledge now what you might have not known and it make want to consider if you don't have a car would you get one.

Opinion is a person thought on certain topic which is brought up towards someone. Opinions are important as without them things such things as votes and elections just wouldn't happen and the government would run their countries the way they see fit without getting the citizens thoughts on the matter. In this video you get a person's thoughts on the show called dare devil and what he liked about and some of the flaws it has as a show.

Subjectivity is like looking at something from one point of view and not looking at any other perspective. An example is like having someone’s opinion on a topic and they are not directly linked what so ever to the topic which is an outside source.

Objectivity is a second source of information which can't be truly trusted as it can be inaccurate as it is given by an outsider which can be false information which is given. an example of this would be some that that isn't a witness of a crime of isn't hasn't even been to the crime scene yet they give their opinion or information of a scene of a crime like police officers. In this documentary you can understand that smoking is bad for your health but at the same time you can understand the smoker’s point of view. The video is trying to say it shouldn't matter what people really spend their waste income on as people should be happy with what they spend waste income however they want and you shouldn't judge other people on how they spend their money. You get peoples multi peoples point of view and what they think on how people should spend the money.

 

Accuracy is something this is correct and precise. Accuracy is needed so that people can know things such false and truths. An example of this would be first source of information with some with direct information to a topic as they are involved. One of these accurate description would be a victims description what happened her when house cough fire.

Impartiality is like persons judgement on a topic which has heard people point of view on a topic. An example of this would be a judge who has to judge a criminal fairly for their crimes and their action and what took place and why. In this video you get to see the victim and the criminal the judge than gets all the facts collected and decides if its right to put the criminal as guilty or not with any topic at hand as long there is a jurde and there is a victim and a criminal.

Access is journalist having to get permission from the person being interviewed and reported on. The person being interviewed can either allow reporters to interview them so they get story and they would be have an accurate analyse reporters would be able to write story on the if the person being interviewed. If the reporters are going to interview someone who is under the age of 16 than the reporters would need permission from parents or career so that they would be allowed to get interviewed.


Privacy are reports and paparazzi taken picture and there's no real rule where it says that reports and paparazzi can't take picture of someone’s private life to learns information so that the whole public can learn something new and interesting about someone. some people even hack celebrities computers and phone so that they can learn new things about someone. some this can be taken too far some people being stalked start breaking down. so people private life would be respected if anything.

Contract with the viewer is when the producer only writes and nothing but the truth without any sort so lie to the audience. If the contract with the viewer never wasn't it wouldn't be as entertaining for the audiences.
